I will answer to evryone as a single post.
While I do not want this thread to revolve around me, I'll tell you a bit about myself, as per Arford's request.
I am Founder and chief instructor of PacificCoastSystema.
I have been trainng in Systema for over ten years.
Strted at a young age with judo, move on to taekwon do, eventually dab into a bit of tai chi. Briely flirted with sho do kai karate, and abit of capoeira.
But Systema changed my life.
Predominantly because through a very SYSTEMAtic process it has allowed me to discover myself, heal myself, find NATURAL Movement and allowed for my instincts to guide me, confidantly. All this while learning a brutal and deadly Martial art/Combat art. Systema is however, not unlike many arts, a life style.
It is a fascinating systema, with lots of interesting work, dating back to the 11 century. Most people have not heard of russian martial arts because of the Bolchevik revolution, which forbid the practice of anything cultural. At that time it (systema)fell in the hands of the soviet army, which in its own way, fined tuned for its own needs.
